An estimate from public numbers and your entries, not a promise of income and not financial advice. Roblox publishes no revenue per game.

Estimate what a Roblox game makes a month. Lite needs only average players online and the size of the shop. Pro takes prices, real sales from Creator Analytics, costs and a 12-month forecast, or starts from any real game we track.

Facts verified: 2026-11-05Primary Roblox Docs ↗

A Roblox game with 100 average players online gets about 72,000 hours of play a month. Roblox paid creators on average about $0.0119 per hour in Q3 2026, and by our model small games earn less per hour than big ones, so with a full shop that is about $380 a month by our estimate, in a wide range of about $52 to $2,800. It is an estimate: Roblox publishes no revenue per game, and small games with the same players earn very different money.

Formula & Engineering Methodology

  • Hours of play a month = average online × 24 × 30.
  • Roblox's reports give what creators were paid per hour of play on average across the platform: $403M for about 34B hours in Q3 2026.
  • By our model big games earn more per hour than small ones, so we apply a size scale: ×0.37 at 100 online, ×0.58 at 1,000, ×1 at 15,000, ×1.82 from 300,000. We fitted it to the earnings of the top 10, 100 and 1,000 creators shown at Roblox's RDC 2026 conference, as the press reported them. Other curves fit those figures about as well and give from about $200 to about $500 for 100 online with a full shop, so the value for small games is our choice.
  • What the game sells moves the result: ×0.05–0.4 with nothing on sale, ×0.3–1.5 with 1 to 5 items, ×0.5–3 with 6 or more. These multipliers are our model, not Roblox data.
  • Robux use the standard DevEx rate ($0.0038). Roblox publishes no revenue per game, so a single game's real figure can differ several times over, sometimes tens of times. Under 10,000 online the range is widened, up to 3 times each way at 1,000 and below: small games with the same players earn very different money. Of the 9 author reports we read on DevForum about games under 1,000 online, 5 fall inside the range for 6 items or more and 7 inside the range for 1 to 5 items. The width comes from those same reports.
  • Pro starts from the same estimate. Prices, the kind of items and how often the game updates move the answer inside that same range, never outside it. A typical full shop counts as zero. Checked on 80 games from Roblox's Top Earning chart, the rank correlation with the chart rose from 0.50 to 0.58; the thresholds were chosen on those same games, so that is no independent proof, and the sizes of the moves are our judgement.
  • Your real numbers replace the estimate: Daily revenue, ARPDAU, or conversion × ARPPU from Creator Analytics. Roblox shows them already without its share. With a funnel we add Creator Rewards at about R$ 0.25 per daily player: Roblox pays 5 Robux per active spender, and we take about 5% of players; three author reports span about 1% to 11%.
  • Where you leave a field empty and we need it, we say what we assumed. The average is about 54% of a week's highest online and a visit lasts about 13 minutes: medians across 150 games we measured on 2026-11-06. A daily player makes about 1.3 visits a day: our assumption, Roblox publishes no such figure for a game.
  • The forecast runs this model for each of 12 months at your change of online. The range opens by 5% a month, because later months are less certain. Change by update pace is our assumption: in our sample the online 24 hours after an update was, in the median, about the same as before it.
  • On a game of Roblox's Top Earning chart we show what creators of that place earned on average as a second opinion, never as the answer: creators are not games, and a place is not an amount.

Common Questions

How much does a Roblox game with 100 players make per month?

About $380 by our estimate with a full shop: 100 online × 24 × 30 = 72,000 hours, × $0.0119 paid to creators per hour on average in Q3 2026, × 0.37 for a game this small, × 1.2 for the shop. The range is wide, about $52 to $2,800, because small games with the same players earn very different money; a game that sells nothing makes far less.

Where does the number come from?

Roblox reports what it pays creators through DevEx and the hours people play. We divide one by the other, multiply by the hours of the game, and adjust for its size and what it sells. The size scale is fitted to the top creators' earnings shown at Roblox's RDC 2026 conference, as the press reported them. Both adjustments are our model and are shown on the page.

What if I don't know my numbers?

Lite needs only average online and the size of the shop. In Pro every other field can stay empty: we never guess at it silently, and each assumption is written next to its field or in the method below. The answer is marked from a rough estimate up to your real sales, so you can see how far to trust it.

Can I estimate another game's earnings?

Yes. Find the game and we fill in what we measure: average online, visits, prices, what it sells, updates. Lite opens at the same number as the game's page. Pro shows that number too, then adds prices and updates, which can move the estimate up or down, and gives a forecast, what would add the most and games of the same size.
